Local director debuts play showcasing SF stereotypes

Bernard Norris’ comical play “The 91- Owl,” debuting at the African American Arts and Culture Complex on Fulton Street showed just how interesting things can get in one day on a bus stop bench at the corner of Kearney and Broadway. Musings on fashion by a stylish and emotive San Fran female

On Divisadero Street behind a bus stop, snuggled in-between a cafe and a gated flat, there is a small red building affectionately known as Backspace. The area is slightly bigger than a shoebox with undone luxe notes replete with emerging local designers, a myriad of interesting jewelry, and floral-smelling candles.
