However if you ask Jay Rosenburg, Co-director of the Hayes Valley Farm, he might respond with community, mulch and fava beans. Since January, Rosenburg and the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association have been transforming a piece of highway that history forgot into an incredible urban farm.
